Still showing as "temporarily unavailable" via Internet Recovery. Wiped my MBP the other day in prep for a fresh install.

Still waiting =/

I wondering if I should do a clean install. I have mid 2010 MBP that originally came with Snow Leopard. I've always just upgraded over to each new OS. I've never done a clean install. Since this will be my 5th OS on my MBP I think it would be good time do a clean install.

That would probably be an amazing idea, just make sure you backup your data first!

I'm doing a clean install as my MBP (from the same time as yours) was having major performance issues throughout the DP.

I saw a couple of Tweets earlier that suggested that Yosemite wouldn't be available until noon pacific/4 p.m. eastern. The statements seemed to be based on what was said during the presentation. I didn't watch, so I can't verify.

Time Machine backed up! Clean install for me, I like to start fresh :D

Hey man, sorry to barge into your comment, but I wanted to do a clean install as well. I have Time Machine. Would you mind telling a computer idiot how to do a clean install? Thanks!

Lou

Must be fictitious unless they have an inside source, all Craig said in the presentation was that it's 'available today' - much like it does on the website.
