I wondering if I should do a clean install. I have mid 2010 MBP that originally came with Snow Leopard. I've always just upgraded over to each new OS. I've never done a clean install. Since this will be my 5th OS on my MBP I think it would be good time do a clean install.
I would imagine that the build number will be the same as GM Candidate 3.0. If so, no need for me to install anything.
What I really want to know about iOS 8.1 is will it fix the screen orientation issues that started with iOS 8?
still no yosemite.. anybody know when it will be available. my macs are hungry lol....![]()
Cue the frantic refreshing of the App Store.
Time Machine backed up! Clean install for me, I like to start fresh![]()
I saw a couple of Tweets earlier that suggested that Yosemite wouldn't be available until noon pacific/4 p.m. eastern. The statements seemed to be based on what was said during the presentation. I didn't watch, so I can't verify.

In order to download Yossy, you have to buy new iPad first)
Hey man, sorry to barge into your comment, but I wanted to do a clean install as well. I have Time Machine. Would you mind telling a computer idiot how to do a clean install? Thanks!
Lou
