Clicked a million times and it turned the Download button in to a Downloading button.

Hover over Launchpad icon on Dock or open Launchpad for progress.

fresh install option? new SSD going in my MBP today.

TRIM will automatically be enabled on the SSD, so put in the SSD under a fresh install of mavericks and download TRIM enabler to disable TRIM. Then from there update to Yosemite and then reenable TRIM.

I had the PB on an external USB, so as I am running 10.9 off the internal, it (finally) just grabbed the new file. .5GB complete. 30 min remaining.

Did anyone with 4GB ram download this yet? Wasn't sure if I should wait till I upgrade my ram or not.

I have a mid 2010 iMac with 4gig PB 6 and have no slowness issues. I use Final Cut Pro X and Motion 5, and those apps are a little slow, but thats expected LOL for my system specs.

If you click on "Purchases" in the Mac App Store, you should see the progress bar.

actually i'm running Yosemite GM 3 on my MacBook Pro 2,1 with 256mb graphics card and 2GB ram. for that low spec, it runs pretty good to me
