I saw someone post the rumor on facebook then got on twitter then it blew up and i turned on the news and it was just getting reported. All of this happened withing 2 minutes.

Around 10 PM I saw a Tweet saying Obama was going to make an announcement. I turned on CNN and stayed glued to my television until 2 AM.

Meanwhile I was live-blogging my thoughts via Twitter and Tumblr and engaging in discussions on Facebook.

Can someone provide evidence that he is dead? What with all the celebration i think it should be confirmed.

Also the us government claim to have killed an international terrorist wanted for crimes across the globe, yet after less than a day of his body being in their possession they throw it into the sea never to be seen or presented as proof of his death.

According to Islamic law the body should be buried on land with the head facing in the direction of Mecca. The body should only be buried at sea if the person dies on a ship. His death was at least 500 miles from a large body of water yet they decided to just throw it in the sea.

Just because the news "confirm" it does not make it true.

Former Pakistani intelligence chief Hamid Gul said the event was a “make believe drama” designed to be used for Obama’s upcoming re-election campaign. The supposed hit as described by the government and the corporate media is the “stuff of folk lore, for legend-making and the ballad,” Gull explained.

Benazir Bhutto, who told David Frost of N.P.R. in late 2007 that Osama bin Laden was murdered by Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, who is also one of the men convicted of kidnapping and killing journalist Daniel Pearl.

Unfortunately no one will even look at it because it's Alex Jones. Amongst these people saying he is dead people from the whitehouse have also said this before now, yet it was swept under the carpet.

I'm sorry to everyone here but you should not start celebrating before you have evidence. A picture or a DNA test is not evidence.

I heard that interview back in 2007 on N.P.R. with my own ears, and the highly respected Presidential nominee Benazir Bhutto, mentioned Bin Laden like it was old news, and commonplace that he was dead already. She made no big deal of it.

And then, not a week later she is assassinated by Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, same monster that killed Daniel Pearl, who was rumored to have very big news story he planned to reveal.

Wake up Amerika, wake up...

Yeah I know man I've seem the video and it just can't be passed of as ************, not when other people have also said it. Even the former secretary of state Madelaine Albright said he was probabalg dead and he would be wheeled out at an important political moment.

I was at the Phillies vs. Mets game and everyone just started chanting USA, USA. So I went on my iPhone and tried to figure out what was going on, but the network was overloaded by people doing the same thing as me. I ended up finding out from someone in my section who managed to get a good signal.

He must of had Verizon. ;)

Celebrating someones death is just wrong, like half of the internet is doing. I understand the reasoning for being relieved he's dead, but being happy about someone being dead is just plain wrong.

Well then, I'll just have to be wrong. I'm certainly not going to feel bad about celebrating that piece of ****'s death, nor will I allow anyone to make me feel bad about it.

For me, I heard about it while playing some online games. They have a habit of trolling there, so checked on twitter #breaking, then finally looked at broadcast news.

Youre so 2010-2011!

I was watching that game. I checked FB and a few people posted about an announcement from Obama, then I changed channels to Fox News to watch.

As a Veteran, I couldn't be prouder of my troops... God bless our troops and God bless the USA.

Most people happy about it are not celebrating the dead of a man. They are celebrating that one of the worst terrorist in history was stopped.

The majority of people would celebrate equally if he had been arrested instead.
