epictempo, what about Obama's credentials? Isn't he still refusing to release his college records?

I got a CNBC push alert on my iPhone with the news, saying that Obama would speak 'momentarily' on TV.

Over an hour later, he was on.

Read several mentions on Twitter of an impending speech by Obama and knew that it was something major, being so late and on a Sunday night; I was afraid it was news of another threat or attack on the US. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was wrong when the flood of tweets with the news started up a few minutes later.

Neat, you have an iPhone?! Cool, bro!

This is an iPhone forum. Most people here have iPhones .

I learned the news from IMDb on the iphone. There was an article with the celebrities opinions of Bin Laden's dead. I immediately googled it (I don't care about the celebs opinions just the real news article).

My girlfriend and I were watching TV when the news broke. So I guess I heard about it the old fashioned way. Although I immediately grabbed my iPhone to see what my Twitter and Facebook feeds were saying.

Good 'ol fashioned radio. NPR, and an hour before any of the TV stations ran anything.

BL.

osama is not dead. OSAMA WHERE YOU BEEN HIDDEN, and is in utah eating breakfast at ihop.

Lily Allen told me, she was fed up that all this news was detracting from the fact today is her birthday.

I saw it in Facebook statuses and then Twitter updates. Then about 30-45 minutes later I got a CNN "breaking news" update.

Reading my Flipboard on iPad 2 in bed--

I was just about to go to sleep and then saw one of my friends mentioned a big announcement from the president was coming--Moments later, my wife and I were watching the live feed on the CNN app.

That's by far the most unusual method of someone getting major news I've ever heard.

+10 points for uniqueness lol

Same as many other people I suppose... ;) :p :D
