LOL thanks. I never expected IMDb to provide me with some International major news. I just visit it for movie info and showtimes. The site's news are mostly about Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Charlie Sheen gossip and their tweets. Quite a surprise to read about Bin Landen is the same place.
 
i got a push alert on my ap news app. I was like, :confused: no way???? then went to confirm it and i was :eek:

I was playing an iOS game called Disc Drivin' which has a chat feature, and one of the other players stated that he was dead. I immediately grabbed the remote from my wife (who was watching her DVRed American Idol....barf), and put on CNN.

Earlier in the evening I saw the breaking news headline on CNN.com that said that President Obama was going to address the nation about something at 10:30pm, which I found odd. Usually they would have an idea of what the address was going to be about, but they didn't at that point.
 
Celebrating someones death is just wrong, like half of the internet is doing. I understand the reasoning for being relieved he's dead, but being happy about someone being dead is just plain wrong.
 
I went to bed early. Came downstairs, made coffee, read email and then saw my Twitter timeline had 850 unread tweets. I knew something happened so I clicked over to the NY Times as I put the news on my iPad through Cablevision's app.

It's a good thing that he's dead. He's the most wanted terrorist in the world. Well.. Was...

And if YOU were affected by the 9/11 tragedy, then you too would be happy.
 
Yeah the only people who should be "celebrating" are the ones who felt suffering and this being closure.

The others who do it out of pride and just wanting to get "high" on patriotism are probably slightly inappropriate but you cant really blame them lol, its a free country :)

Sorry, not everyone in the world is innocent. Osama Bin Laden killed thousands of people, and created and led the most dangerous terror organization. He's like the modern Hitler, how is celebrating the death of someone who brought so much pain to the world, wrong?

I think your mindset is wrong.

Comparing Hitler and Osama Bin Laden is absurd. Osama killed thousands of people. Hitler killed over 80 million people. That would be an insult to Hitler.
