You might want to submit another radar to Apple...I'm not convinced this is fully fixed. It doesn't seem to want to remember my settings when I adjust the screen size using the OPTION key. Any ideas/suggestions? It's definitely better than it was but doesn't feel like it was before the bug popped up.
Thanks, I've gone ahead and submitted another report. The issue tends be when saving a file, the sidebar width is just too small and always reverts back to whatever that setting is.
I am finding this very annoying. Has it been fixed? When using the open/save function (opening a window) I resize it to reflect my needs.
A sidebar with sufficient width to read my folder names and a larger window at all to be able to navigate through folders.
In previous versions of all OSX-versions if I recall it correctly, including Big Sur 11.0 this resized size became the new standard.
With the latest install of Big Sur (11.1) the open/save window reverts to a standard size.
So now I have to resize the window every time I open/save files.

Just finished installing 11.2.2... launched an app... opened a file with the open dialog... resized the sidebar... quit the app... opened again and... it seems to have fixed the issue! WOO!
