I personally like to hear about everything that's out there, good and bad, especially if it's objective. Personally, I bought a BB Bold for myself because I found that it can do most everything an iPhone can do and many more (i.e. voice dialing that nails my odd last name and that of my fiance every time, XM Radio, editing MS Office docs, infinitely expandable memory (although I stick with my 17 Gb total), organizer and calendar that holds more info, physical keyboard that is easier to type fast on (at least to me), and screen with higher ppi, to name just a few). However, I think the iPhone is an outstanding device. I recommended it to my fiance and she is now the happy owner of one and despite my preference for the Bold, I think that the iPhone suited her needs better and at a better price since she didn't need the 16Gb version.
As for the hotly debated BB Storm. As a BB lover I can say that it is a disappointment and is bested by the iPhone. The Storm's touchscreen simply doesn't work as well. I made frequent errors in typing on the thing and found it to be clunky in its interface overall, again due to it's odd touchscreen. I also think the Storm will likely have durability issues, but that's purely speculation on my part.
I welcome any feedback, as long as it's polite. Remember, I think the iPhone and various iterations of the iPod are great, the iPhone just wasn't the right phone for me at this time. Knowing Apple, they'll rise to the challenge with the next version of the iPhone or OS updates.
