I would love to watch the Keynote and see MORE than just them talking about the new iPhone. / iPad. :)

The iPhone is great, but there is too much talk about it...

I'm hopeful they get At&t on stage to announce when they are going to turn their 14.4 HSPA network on, or when the upgrades will be done and turned on for some cities.

This doesn't completely answer your question, but Steve Jobs said this week that performance of AT&Ts network for the iphone will be significantly improved by the end of this summer. People are working on it basically.

Haha, leave Steve alone.

Leaaaaaaaaave him alone...!

Is there going to be a spoiler free page? You know with the link to the Keynote when it's up?

I have heard first heard about this when the iPad was introduced in February and now I hope, that I will be able to see my first spoiler free Apple Keynote. :)

As others mentioned, there are other things that could be released/discussed as well. There are plenty of possibilities at WWDC.

I had just assumed that the new iPhone would be released running OS 4.0-does anyone think it's going to be running 3.x?

I had heard that it will have OS 4.0, its just the ipad that wasn't going to have 4.0 until this summer.

Just thinking out loud here:

Can Jobs really talk about just the iPhone 4 for an hour?

No, longer. Look at the past WWDCs. They talk over the OS again, they'll get devs up to talk about their apps, they'll talk about the new phone and it's hardware specific features etc etc.

I really hope WWDC won't be a constant iPhone fest, would be nice to hear something about the Mac :p
If you look at the state of the Mac and OS X, there really isn't much that needs to be discussed. Sure, Apple could improve some drivers, clean up a few bugs, but iPhone/iPad and the iPhone OS is where the attention needs to be, in order to bring maturity to the platform. Snow Leopard has reset the operating system for the next five or so years.

That's why the focus will be almost entirely on iPhone/iPad this year. I think we will see returned focus to Macs and OS X in the future (probably WWDC 2011).

As an exercise, try to name three burning topics that Apple needs address for Macs and OS X. Not just little niggling things like "I want TRIM support" or "fix my niggling _____ hardware problem". I'm talking topics that would require a half-day technical seminar or multi-session track.
