13" standard configuration (+ VGA adapter) ordered around 3pm GMT on the 13th.

I assume all of the MBP's that have arrived in Warsaw are ones that were shipped on the 16th from China..

Looks like it. Mine was originally shipped on the 16th. The question is whether all shipped on the 16th fit in that plane or some are left behind?

Now the optimistic boy inside me is alive: If the plane lands in Cologne tonight and my package gets unloaded as well...it could be here tomorrow as I live less than 200 km away, right? ;)

Our HE rep at apple called and told me that my order will be out on the Van tomorrow... she informed me that the delivery was due at around 8pm ourtime and then ship over to the UK just after midnight.. fingers and legs crossed

Seriously guys, please help me! I still can't find my tracking number. I ordered on the 13th and have received confirmation mail and invoice mail.

I see something called "delivery reference number", but I suppose that's not the same as the tracking number? I'm such a noob...

HELP

In that case i'll assume that mine was there, though I have no way of telling as they didn't give me a tracking number  Stupid Applecare

I'm in exactly the same situation. No tracking no. due to applecare merge. Can't wait to just get a tracking number!!
Sad, i know, but hey, I'm glued to this thread aren't I??

Just got the ups widget, but it doesn't appear to tell me anything about the package other than it's 'in transit'. Isn't the whole point of a tracking widget that it gives you information? I know it's 'in transit' otherwise I wouldn't have downloaded it.

In case I'm just not doing it right has anyone else got it and knows how to make it more useful?

(In Warsaw too! :))

When is the flight due to take off?

HELP

Just to clarify for those who do not want to read 40 pages of bits and bobs:

If you just ordered either a CTO or high spec MBP with NO add-ons (apple care..adaptors) then you should get a UPS tracking number with your shipping notice from Apple..

If you placed an order WITH either apple care or any add-ons such as a printer or adaptors you will not get any tracking details until your order has merged with all its parts in Cologne. At that point when its on a plane to the UK DC will you get any tracking details ( you can use the 80 or 81 number under TNT International Shipping once it hits the UK until you get the full tracking details) this will show on the Apple Bridge as "Merge in transit" or have a long ww0000 number...

If your tracking shows the following:

KOELN (COLOGNE), DE 19/04/2010 23:48 PACKAGE DATA PROCESSED BY BROKERAGE. WAITING FOR CLEARANCE

This doesn't really mean anything other than papers have been filed for customs, it does not mean your order is in Cologne -just electronic files by the accepting country!

It seems orders shipped on the 15/16th are on the way over today!

It will save checking the website, the widget tells you where you item was last scan... ie i know mine is still in china. :(

If laptops which first scanned on 16th have arrived in europe today, then hopefully mine which first scanned on 17th will land in europe tomorrow.... and i may get it monday or tues.

You know, I don't even mind the wait! I have a working (though slow) computer, and am busy revising/finishing my dissertation, I just want to know what's going on! I envy the people with tracking numbers

I've noticed the widget doesn't update itself on my iMac. This morning the UPS website was already showing departure from Incheon, but the widget was stuck on yellow exception status. Had to double-click the tracking number to get it updated. May be just my configuration.

I believe they will be in time tomorrow morning for delivery. Everything is going OK now and UPS said on twitter that the backlog should be cleaned tomorrow. :)
