Our MBP is stranded in ShangHai thread [UK/Eu]

Same here.
My delivery date has already changed from 4th May to 10th May and now to 11th May . WTF??
Talk about moving the goal posts!

So all in all, it will take about a month from ordering to delivery.
As someone said earlier in this thread, I should have asked them to "stick a F*ucking stamp on it!", it would have been quicker for sure!

I wish I could tell you.
Unfortunately because my order is due to be merged in Holland with a poxy Apple remote, I won't get ANY TRACKING info at all and delivery will be further delayed by several days (thank you very much Apple, for not informing me of this!).

My "approximate" delivery dates have changed on my "Apple Order Status" page, for what it's worth...

Me too. I'll be gutted if it doesn't make it before the holiday weekend but what can we do eh!
 
Just when we were talking about the fact that our delivery dates vanished, mine has just reappeared as tomorrow. :D

Yea, indeed... I just hope that my MBP will come as one piece instead of, you know... like the outcome of the FeDex/UPS delivery videos posted above. :D
 
In the first mail Apple told me I could expect the delivery date around May 3.
Ordered: 17 April 2010
Shipped: 22 April 201
UPS Rescheduled Delivery Date: 26 April 2010

Via my order status on Apple.com I see the following:
Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 26 Apr 2010 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule

Good hope to receive it tomorrow. Let's hope it's true!

Just noticed that if you register on the UPS web site, they give you some additional reference numbers regarding your order/MBP, most important of which is the serial number!

You can use that to check on the apple support web site when your AppleCare starts when they process it!

edit: misread the page before posting, they haven't processed my AppleCare yet so they don't list an exp. date, but if they've processed it for you already then it should be listed!

En el mio pone lo de Merge... y cuando llamé a apple me dijeron que tendría que esperar asique puede que lo tengas mañana. Suerte!!;)

(On my order status says Marge.., and when I calle Apple the told me i'd have to wait some days, so maybe you can have it tomorrow. Good luck!!;)
 
It's nearly Monday and I'm fretting irrationally that UPS will attempt to deliver my MBP in the two 1 hour slots in my day when I won't be at home. I might have to drive all the way to the depot :(

Unlucky as it may be for it to arrive within those 1 hour windows I'm really anxious about it. As I said: irrational.

My MBP is nearly here though so I must bid this thread farewell. It's been 'fun' to track it across the world and share in the woes and excitement as our precious MBPs make their way towards us. I hope no one is disappointed tomorrow or has to wait too long for theirs to get to them. I know it's hard.

Same thing next update? Hopefully without the volcano ;)
 
WHY?! It's in the same country, why have they shifted the estimated delivery date to the 27th from the 26th. This doesn't even make sense!!

My MBP has arrived in Cologne tonight. Seems like tomorrow is going to be the day. Finally! I'm gonna camp in front of my door all day long waiting for that delivery guy.
