Ozaki iCoat-Slim-Y+

btw, I asked the guy who did that short review if the cover was floppy/loose like the Ozaki one. Doesn't seem like he tried the Ozaki slim-y series, but he says the magnets on the Versacover is stronger than the smart cover so its not floppy.

Makes the Moshi cover even more tempting. I've actually been using a Slim-Y model that I borrowed off of my brother for the past month. I love the Slim-Y, and honestly the magnet problem wasn't that big of a deal to me. Although for how much the Slim-y costs, it would be nice if it were fixed. Which is why I am tempted by the Moshi, but I'm not too sure about that steep typing angle on the Moshi.

On the fence right now and it sucks.

hmm the Slim-Y is cheaper than the Moshi at igearguys which lowered it to 50-ish.

Will do. I got the black, the yellow is too out there for me lol.

The versa covers floppiness doesn't bother me at all, but then again I don't really use the auto screen on and off feature anyway.
 
If someone has the organism case can you post pics please? I'm thinking about getting that one and need detailed pics

I ordered the Moshi, but also thinking about ordering an Ozaki. Can somebody give me a breakdown on the difference between the Y, Y+, and Y++?

Y and y+ are the same case Both made out of polyurethane only difference is y+ comes with a stylus. The y++ is made out of thicker pu leather and has a strap to hold the front cover on while moving or having it in a bag and it also comes with the stylus the y+ comes with.

do it! make a comparative review and return the one you don't like :D

between me i would just narrow it down to the Y+ or Y++. go for Y+ if you like its imprinted designs/colors/ or if you want to save about 10 bucks. Go for y++ if you want the thicker cover. igearguys said they could get Y+ models with the back strap if you request it.

igearguys has it for $61

While it says they're not in stock, igearguys emailed me and said they could ship out one with a built in backstrap pretty quickly if i wanted one.

but yeah futurism was the one I thought of too! either that or the black Y++ that dieburnbot got. the black moshi was my 3rd choice.

Can you please take a pic of it upside down I want to see if the cover flaps open. I have the y++ and it's pretty difficult to make the cover come undone because of how thick the pu leather is on the front cover. I've been meaning to make a video of it to add to my review, but time hasn't been on my side lately lol. I'm getting there slowly, but surely.

Yes it flaps open, not much in the way of magnetic force that holds it on the screen. That's my only complaint as of yet
