He's not out if Barrett can't hold onto the ball. I'm not saying he tagged the plate (although he may have, there was dirt in the way). But Barrett DEFINITELY did NOT tag him.

First of all the catcher did not have control of the ball. Second he was never tagged before the ump ruled safe.
But the ump made the call so it is a moot point.Ya, but he can't be safe if he never touched the plate! What I'm saying is, when the ump called it he wasn't safe or out. Notice how the ump hesitates, he wasn't 100% sure he was safe.
