But what if it repeats last year's World Series? You know, getting swept by a bunch of foot apparel?yg17 said:And if it continues to repeat last year's NLCS, then I will be one happy Cards fan!

Well, it will be weird in this town regardless of who the White Sox play - at least if the Cardinals are playing the Sox the Tribune will finally cover the gamesleekohler said:Gotcha! That's cool. But you have to admit, it'll be weird in this town if St. Louis goes to the World Series.

If, and that's still a big "if" at this point, the Cardinals make it to the World Series, I don't think they'll get swept again. I think the Sox will still win since they have the stronger pitching staff, but it won't be a sweep.Counterfit said:But what if it repeats last year's World Series? Ohh... no... TRAFFIC!
so where are the games being played? (most importantly, saturday's game.. I wanted to go to the Apple store and I know traffic will be #$@#!$ed if it's within a 300 mile radius of the Apple store.

It will be in Houston Tuesday through Thursday with games each day at 8 PM EST, so 7 you time.

After the stories I read I would be hard pressed if the Nationals were to face off with the Sox in the Series; as to who I would support in the Series. Thankfully after the Nats meltdown in the second half, I will be watching Saturday rooting for the Sox's. Doesn't matter if it is St. Louis or Houston. It is the Southside Sox's all the way for me this year. Sorry about that for any Cub's fans....
