Pandora bracelets and charms?

Yes, they also have gold, rose gold, white gold, etc... Depending on how much you want to spend ($10k+). You can get a knock off brand with 925 Sterling Silver and better quality 18k gold for $200-300. You're paying 2-3x more for the name.

What do you mean they're not an honest company? Unless you buy from a reputable store or directly from the company, you have a chance of getting fake stuff. I'd agree unless you've seen it in person and trust the buyer never to arbitrarily buy expensive Jewelry.

Sorry for my delay in responding.

Yes, I do know that yellow gold, rose gold, white gold and other finishes, too are available.

David Yurman has been around over 30 yrs as a was told by my former co worker.

My former coworker went the purchased a bracelet from the David Yurman from the store that was closest to her. But when she saw the bracelet in person. She noticed that something wasn't right with the bracelet. So she decided not to buy it and left the store. So when she called the customer service line and asked them if there were any other bracelets available at some store locations and they told her that the bracelet that she saw was the only one left In The USA. But she decided to call the another location directly and gave the SA the style number only to discover that store had that bracelet in stock. My question is why couldn't customer service just tell her about the other bracelet that was available?!

What other brands are you referring to that cost 2-3x less than David Yurman ?

Generic Brands. There's a quite a bit of non-brand name Jewelry out there.

A pound of .925 sterling silver costs <$200. There certianly isn't anywhere close to a pound of silver in a bracelet.

You're paying for the brand recognition and status symbolism, not for the actual quality- like most things in fashion. You can spend $600 on a recognizable brand fashion watch that used the same components as a $60 watch. Or you can spend $600 on a brand most people have never heard of with components comparable to a $3,000 luxury brand watch.

You can also spend $600 on a sweater at Bergdorf Goodman that could will keep you as warm and last as long as $10 at Walmart. The $100 shirt at J. Crew you get "a good deal" for 30% off isn't really a good deal when you consider its entire cost from production to store delivery is a few dollars... or even less if you buy from the J. Crew Factory Store (Made in Mauritis, using subpar materials and construction).

If I waste my money one thing, it's most definitely clothing. It's silly, is it not?

Everyone is different. Everyone has things that they like to spend money. This reminds me of the story that my pharmacy tech teacher told the class on the first day of classes. He told us about a student that had purchased a basic four function calculator from the dollar store for $1. And during the fall semester she had to return back to that dollar store to purchase another calculator 7 different times. Next the teacher said that she should purchased one calculator for $10 and it would have lasted for the whole semester and longer.

I hear you

No, It's not silly that you waste your money on clothing. Like I said before, everyone is different. There are some people who work full time as a personal stylist or personal shopper (which is a old school term), which is a person that helps people put their outfits together in a way that will makes the clients look the best.

Now, my mother told me that she was looking for a leather jacket back in the 80s or the 90s, she saw one at JC Penny and it wasn't that expensive. But then she saw one at Foley's before they became Macy's and it was way more expensive, but she said that she could feel the different between the leather quality between the two jackets.

And you mentioned buying items from the outlet vs the full retail store and that's very true that due to the difference in the price there will be a difference in the quality. I ran across this video on YouTube today.

I recently discovered Pandora's other offerings. They have some exquisite pieces. My husband bought me one of their rings. Friends are convinced he spent a fortune on it. (It was $90.) It looks rich.
