Lol that's IF I can get two lines switched to loyalty and AOLed off my account in the morning. That's a big if with my recent luck with Verizon and eBayers.

I like the fact there is a guide for 5.99 for acquiring udp. After 13th that will become worthless....

I got 1 cool Verizon Rep today. He waited while we process 2 phones today. Apple Rep called and he waited till second transaction to go through because for sure it'll go to Analyst Review again.It depends who is answering the phone.

I had to remove one of my botched tdp from my account. Called Verizon. CSR got hung up three times from apple side. I told her I would wait with her.... 45 mins of my life gone.
Someone was having trouble too I think. Call 800myapple. May speed up the process. They can send an email to Verizon which states the phone is in their possession, Verizon then can terminate the line.
Stockpiling iPhone until Wednesday I suppose.
Does anyone know of a way to bypass activation fee? Get new sim for a different device? Would that work since you will not be activating on the original sim? Maybe? I have a few lines which I will keep, trying to see if I can save a little.

I should have said the last date of AOL UDP line was yesterday. Would be fun to see everybody in panic mode. So far, nobody can confirm it's done deal. I hope nobody kills me if the rumor is indeed false.

Is it possible to get the nexus 6 on a subsidiary price on Verizon, or am I going to have to pay full price. Been sitting on my upgrade for over a year now.

I do this all of the time. Not sure why others aren't able to get AOL reps to do this sort of thing. I have to hang up some times and call again and of course the reps M-F during business hours are usually better.
I've tried three times, at that point, just too much work.

Jailbreak will give you root, but it is not the same as having he unfettered freedom of an unlocked bootloader.If don't get your Nexus 6, I'm sure we could convince you to give the iPhone 6 Plus a try. Things are good here in the 64-bit world of iOS.

They already claim abuse by those who use 600 GB/mo. Verizon could refuse to renew UDPs altogether or enforce the asterisk - they just have to let you out of your contract w/o the ETF.
Moral of this story - stay on contract.

I have use for 5 NW T&T UDP lines if I am willing to trust my relatives to pay me for their service every month. I am going to speak to them about that. And then use for another MiFi UDP line.That's what I was thinking about doing but only with 5 lines not 10.
Then in my mom's name I will keep a couple and consider renting them out in 6 months. If that doesn't work out, I will just pay the etf on those. I have made enough money on the iPhone sales that it won't be bad to pay that.

But jdougal was joking as he said. If you could unlock the bootloader of an iPhone I would consider it. They are nice phones but not for me. I actually just convinced a friend of mine to switch back to an iPhone from Moto X b/c she was not using her dev ed Moto X to its full potential b/c she didn't want to customize. I told her it was ridiculous for her to have a phone with an unlockable bootloader and not unlock it or mod it at all.

Great! I was able to get the chat rep to change my voice plan to the $15. Since I already used more than 30 minutes this month, it is effective in 2 weeks.
What does an unlocked bootloader do? Just curious.
It allows you to boot files that are not signed by the manufacturer - or IOW, you can flash custom ROMs.
But on a more practical note, if you have the factory images and an unlocked bootloader, it is pretty darn near impossible to brick your device. As long as you can get to the bootloader mode, you can flash back the factory images.
Rooting your phone gives you access to all of the files on the system partition. If you have root and write protection disabled, the changes you make will survive a hard reboot. You can root w/o having write protection disabled but then anything you change will go away if you do a hard reboot.
If you have root access, you need a "gatekeeper" application like SuperSU to limit which apps you grant root privileges to because you don't want all apps to have root access.

I need to check Tasker out. I really don't take full advantage of all of the customization potential of my android. The fact is that I am pretty satisfied with my Moto X as is and didn't do much to mod it. I have Gravity Box, Moto Tether and Root Cloak but not much else. The Moto X really is the greatest non-Nexus android out there. The droid line too but that is a Verizon exclusive and basically just a Moto X in a different form factor.
Question regarding aol. If the line that I am AOL is suspended and apart of my family plan I know i have to unsuspended it but do I need to change it to a separate family share plan/individual if the person who is getting it has a family share? Or can I just AOL it as is and they are able to add it to their plan keep UDP ? Advice would be appreciated!
Did you ask the chat rep specifically for the loyalty plan or just a random query?

So I've been trying to avoid this girl for awhile now. Well decided hey maybe something did really go wrong and it wasn't her fault. So I got her today and guess what. She went to the back and called the number for the analyst review for the CORe team and came back 15 minutes later with a rep telling me my account is on hold for 48 hours. That girl...what bad luck. I hope everything clears before Thursday midnight so could move all my lines. This sucks...

Had an online order picked up. Take it out the box at home and it's saying it needs to confirm SSN and billing zipcode to activate. I enter that information and it doesn't take. Do this a few times and get locked out. Never experienced this one. Anyone else?
