Omg... just got off the phone with pageplus after 30min, just for them to tell me that they won't port my number with the $10 minutes PIN because I have a 4G phone and I HAVE to buy the $30 plan to be able to port my number.... WTF
Gtk, thanks. Do you have a verizon flip phone you can use? Since you don't care about keeping UDP on the line as it will terminate with the port, it won't matter if you put a basic phone on the line.

edit: I'm starting to wish I had just purchased a stupid Note 4 for retail and skipped all this nonsense.

I ported my number using the $12.00 plan I linked in a thread earlier today. It was painless & only took a few minutes.

I ported my number using the $12.00 plan I linked in a thread earlier today. It was painless & only took a few minutes.
The lady on the phone specifically told me I had to pick the 1200 plan for $29.99. I'd hate to waste another $12 and still end up having to buy the $29.99 plan anyway
 
Help me with my account!!!

Ok i have done about 12 purchases with Apple about 7 through web orders and 5 instore (one was stuck pending yesterday) in store. The last one stuck pending yesterday never went thru for some reason so I cancelled.

I purchased my 12th phones actually 11th (1 web order stuck in processing) and then on the 13th purchase (technically 12th) the guy at Apple hands me a Cell phone saying someone wants to speak to me. I take the phone and they say I am unapproved to purchased this phone. I ask why? They say I have opened too many lines and must say in good standing for up to 6 months of service.


Today I try to use my phone and my service is suspended. I called the fraud department and they want me to fax in all type of information such as Social Security, Passport, License and etc.

Do you think they will restore my service and do you think I will be able to add a line before all this ends?

buy or borrow one. Or try the $!2 plan Delmar linked to above
The $12 plan will only work with 3G phones. I dont know anybody with old basic phones or even 3G phones.

Do you have an old one lying around I could use the ESN of or anything perhaps? lol

Sounds like what happened to my wife today. If they suspend our service I'm done with that garbage company.
 
Part II - UDP For Life

Okay so I added a second line with unlimited data, no texts, and 450 minutes. They are telling me I can't drop it down to the loyalty 30 minutes plan #89736. Keep saying it isn't compatible and she won't get off the conversation of how my new line has unlimited data. I said yes, it sure does. Now can you change my plan? She keeps saying hold please lol. This is so annoying already.

Any advice?

Try a different agent or the chat line. I got my line changed in about 15 minutes over the chat line.

Hang up on her and try someone else. Nothing good will come of staying on the phone with a nosey rep.

I have old motorola raptor and another motorola flip to hold dummy line. I already disconnect that dummy line. LMK if you need it.
 
Well, my second and final "extra" UDP has now been AOLed out. Thanks, everyone, for all the tips. I'm now sporting two subsidized Verizon iPhone 6s, a 64GB model that I'm using with my grandfathered AT&T unlimited plan, and a 16GB model that I'm using with a brand new Verizon UDP. I was able to purchase the phones from the proceeds of the sale of my original unlocked iPhone 6 64GB.

I just need to temporarily have it activated with page plus, but then i'm going to switch my phone number back to verizon right away so it wont be connected after that. You just have to feel them out. Try to compliment them and try to bring up that he/she will be getting a good feedback survey.


Haha that stuff is the easy part. I'm a RN so dealing with people has become quite an easy feat. She was just in awe of my UDP that I just opened and said loyalty wasn't compatible which makes no sense considering a lot of people have clearly done this very recently lol.

I'm not surprised this happened since your account is only two weeks old. I guess it's time to get faxing if you want to stay in the game.

That's very wrong to cut off your service without warning. I hope this isn't your only cell service.

No Sim Card or anything... it's stupid phone. Here is MEID # A000000E659F82 since I can't PM you. Keep in mind, I can't turn on that phone if you need to call or do anything on it. I just park my line there before.

So apparently the misinformed AOL rep for the person who assumed my account was saying that they had stopped AOLing UPDs effective today. However, the line is off my account, so it appears to have gone through. She called her supervisor, who is supposed to get back to the purchaser in an hour. I'm sure it will go through just fine, but just be aware that some people may be getting bad info from AOL reps.
