They are trying to tell me nonsense please help me out thru pm if possible. I would greatly owe you for this.
They do not have the ability to change the price of the plan and that is that. The only thing they can do is change your plan. The price of a plan is dictated by the system, not a rep. If you are on the Any Mobile Talk and Text Share 700 plan, it is $105 for 2 lines plus the cost of the data plans. Just tell them to add the line to your Any Mobile plan and keep the UDP.

The base price of the plan is $85 and then each line is another $10 and then the price of the data plans.

There is nothing else to say about this. Reps don't have ability to change the price of the plan.
 
I'm done calling verizon LOL. I never want to talk to a verizon rep or see the inside of an Apple store for a long time

LMFAO at this point apple and verizon should just give us jobs. I think I know more then most of the reps after all of this.

I have not been able to add a line today :(

I've added three today, no problems. Now I'm trying to get them transfered out.
 
you have to be REALLY nice and persuasive. So I just went on chat and dropped down my 2nd line to $45 plan. How? Well wehn I asked she said "have you heard of the more everything plan?" Me.. Ah yes but not interested. also the line is for an elderly parent (true) that doesn't talk much and only uses the phone for internet. rep "oh ok, so your better off keeping your current plan because of UDP" me.. exactly... re "can I help you with anything else?" me.. can you please add the loyalty code? it makes sense for us since mom doesn't use the phone to talk at all. rep " oh ok, I can do that, you mean for line 1 (the line without a contract and that I use for minutes)" me... no, line 2 please (the original one I asked for that is already on contract so I don't mind the extension). Rep "ok you're all set!"

Just called AOL and was able to get $45 loyalty plan.
Gtk, I will try again later. Too tired of dealing with them after last night.

Call AOL department and tell them not to change the plan but add the line to your existing plan. There is no magic about this. You either get a rep who knows what they are doing or you have to hang up and try again.

You should be able to but as always this is rep dependent.
 
Thanks to all who tried to help. In the end I decided to give up and eventually got Verizon to put my TDP back on my main account. Took four calls but I think they finally got it done. First two reps were useless, third rep moved it into my account but left it on the separate 450 min plan. The fourth rep got it back on my 1400 NW plan but it is unclear if the $20 T&T discount remains (rep said it is still there but we all know how reliable their word can be). My plan doesn't end til Dec. 4th so I may not know for certain until then. Good news is that the last two reps said I won't even get a separate bill for the subaccount since it was just created today. Again not sure if that is true or not.

ETA If anyone comes across a way to transfer phone numbers between two lines in the same account (one UDP one TDP), hit me up.

Rep said that his system blocked it, and he was surprised.
He checked the email they got about AOL'ing UDP lines and confirmed it's supposed to start tomorrow, but he wasn't sure how to work around the system block.

Will call again to see if I can get a different rep, but this could be it.

Getting a different rep should do the trick. A lot of UDP lines have been AOLed today.

I called 800-922-0204 and they said the issue is the line I am adding to the Family Share and they said they wont be able to.

Yup, you're right. It was no sweat the 2nd time. That rep told me I had like 6 hours left.

Yes, Motorola has pre-orders at 12 CT but I missed out on them.
 
I have to add to sub account.

I got 1 line sub account 1 which is the NW450min w/UDP

Sub account 2 that has Family Share Any Mobile Talk & Txt Shr 700 w/UDP

I tried to merge sub account#1 into #2 and they get errors but it doesnt say supposedly.

What to do?

Keep calling until you get a rep who can do it. AOL can do it.

Honestly didn't even try there today.

So I have a phone that's trying to activate that's showing a number that isn't what is on my receipt/MyVerizon. I'm assuming it was a return that wasn't opened. Anyway Tech support was no help. Now the store is saying they can't return it I have to do it online since it was an online order. WTF

Did you try to activate it through iTunes, WiFi and Cellular and did you try using an already active SIM card to activate it?

Not iTunes, I don't have a PC to use for that. I tried wifi and cell. Tried with the SIM it came with and another active SIM. It's locked to this number that I have no information on. It asks for social and zip and it doesn't take 0's or the correct info.
