Old friend. Tons of chicks out there and if y'all have something in common, such as a friend, you can see her later. Sounds like the old friend is important to even be considering so go chill with him. You will soon learn that a good friend is worth more than a thousand hotties.

Whichever you choose shows what kind of person you really are. If superficial things such as appearance are more important to you than true friendship, then go to the party. I'm sure hanging out with your friend will mean a lot more to him than hanging out with the female will to her.

You didn't really talk about your friendship with this guy. Did you all share some good memories and get a long?

If so then here's what you do. You call up the little hunnie you're foxin' on and you say. "You know ..my boy is coming into town and we haven't caught up in years I'm gonna have to skip the party but how about you and I go do xxxxxx (where xxxxxxx = something fun and a bit more personal).

Here's why it benefits you.

Skipping on a friend for a woman isn't bad but you won't know how she feels about "you" unless you pull away and see how interested she is in getting together later. Women don't like stooges. She'll probably respect you more if you go do the "bro" thing and if she doesn't. She wasn't the one.

But at the same time she might be thinking about the phrase "bros before hos" and thinks shes a ho if the bro is selected.

s'ok. Women are like busses...there's another coming in 15 minutes. If you're a halfway decent guy the only limitation is your own aggressiveness.

"Bros before hos" just means that you shouldn't ignore your friends for a woman. It doesn't mean that anyone is a "ho."

If the girl's worth seeing for more than a night, then she'll more than understand when you explain that you're meeting with an old friend. Explain it to her.

hmmm...Im just realizing that you situation is PARTY with a hot girl. You're going to lose one way or another when you're at the party so im going with old friend.

Time with a friend. Hot girls are more trouble than they're worth half the time, and simply partying with/buying drinks for a hot girl isn't indicative it would progress into something more.

Friends,on the other hand, are comfortable. Play a game, watch a movie, eat a pizza, go blading, play laser tag, blah blah. Nothing bad can com of spending time with an old friend.

So I'm torn between going to a party with a particularly attractive girl, or spending a day with a friend from Middle School that I haven't seen since graduation day. He's been trying to set things up, and his birthday is approaching. He wants to hang out on May 1st, but his birthday is a few days later.
However, this may be my only chance to start a relationship with this girl, since she was a friend's friend.

ADVICE? WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!

Find a way to hang with them both at the same time doofus...

Friends first- ALWAYS in this kind of situation. Friends are your most valuable assets. You do not ditch a friend because of some girl you just met- EVER.

I dunno about you, but I wouldn't want to be with my mate while he's 'hanging out' with a lady friend. It you catch my drift. Unless all three of them are up for it :p
