Passbook iOS 6

This isn't working for me. Passbook just opens to a black screen and does nothing.
 
Another PassBook creation tool

Hey guys. I know there was a link posted to a generator, but I wanted to share the one I've been working on as it allows generation of all the different kinds of passes and allows customization of the colors and raw JSON data if you know what you're doing.

Let me know what you think. This is just a rough alpha but I will be working on this to make it really nice and polished before iOS 6 launches officially.

It appears to ignore various fields when filled in, at least for boarding pass. I could change the JSON fields, for instance the displayed date and whatnot, and those changes wouldn't show up in the generated pass at all.

Sorry about that. The bug should be fixed now so please try again and let me know if you're still having issues.

Yes, I am running iOS 6. I emailed one of the posted .pkpass files to my self. When I tapped it, it showed as a blank black screen, besides the cancel and add button. I pressed add, thinking it was just buggy on the preview. Now, when I open the passbook app, it is just a black screen. Nothing else. At all (besides the iPhone status bar). I'm not sure how to delete it now either because I can't access the app. And yes, I did try the other ones posted too. They were all black. I figure the first one was buggy for some reason causing none of them to work.

If you've ever used any of the Accessibility features on your phone, then you will have the blank black screen bug. Have you ever gotten a pass to show on your phone? If not, you will be stuck like me and have to wait until the next beta to test on your device. The site does work in the simulator though for testing. The black screen bug sucks! (I feel your pain as I'm in the same situation on my test device).

I think you mean top left.

And if he has the black screen bug, opening Passbook just shows a black screen and does not show your passes. It's a very annoying bug. Supposedly a clean restore without restoring data or settings (i.e. factory restore with data loss) will fix it.

I don't think it's the fault of any of the passes. Test in the simulator (unless you want to blow away your phone) until beta 2 comes out.

I can't hit any circle because passbook just opens as a black screen, there is no UI to interact with.

I tried downloading it from my Mac, emailing then opening it from mail and it didn't work. I tried opening the link right on my iPhone and it didn't work. I tried making a new one from both of the template creation links from this thread and the same thing has happened every time. Black screen. I've even tried restarting my phone and that didn't help.

You will have to do a clean restore in order to get it to work in beta 1. Try it in the simulator.

Accessibility bug, you say? That's what I get for playing around with the new settings in iOS 6! Okay, well thank you! It's good to know where the problem comes from.

Yes, and also good to know you're not going crazy and that there's no sense wasting more time fixing an issue you can't fix :)

Wow. I hadnt thought of this. As a huge music guy, This would be awesome.

Although I still miss the "days" of real tickets in your hand. I love keeping my old concert tix. Its gotten to a point where I just keep the wristband instead now, except I never remember what concert that band was for.
