The OP really owes it to himself to got to the link, above, install Coconut Identity Card, and see whether the MBP appears to be stolen. I would also appreciate it if the OP could let us know what Coconut tells him.

Agreed, but what good would that do for any of you who think it's stolen? I ran the test and as I expected, PowerMax says it isn't stolen. Is that good enough proof for the naysayers of this deal? Probably not because people will just continue to refute that it's stolen; the fact that even Coconut Identity says that although it may come up saying it isn't stolen, it's not guaranteed doesn't help. @Relznuk summed it up best with his comment... "Besides that, it's nobody's job to be his watchdog, or worse, his moral authority. That issue is nobody's business but the OP's." I got one steal of a deal, let me enjoy it.

Congratulations on your purchase. My suggestion that you run it through Coconut Identity was not meant as a veiled slam of the great deal you got on your MBP. Enjoy! The tone of the negative comments made here to the effect that you must have bought a stolen computer smacks of the "politics of envy," at least to me.
