----
Windows XP Home is not as good as Tiger; even ignoring the OS X/Windows difference, Tiger has all the features of XP Pro, not Home.
And there's really no denying Tiger is a superior OS to Windows XP. Just by release dates alone; Windows XP is a 2001 product, Tiger is a 2005 product. Of course its going to have many more features.
Additionally, the Dell does not have an antivirus, which is a necessity.
I see the Dell wins in one category (processor), ties in three (screen, hard drive, disk drive), and loses in 6 (Memory, Wireless, Graphics card and VRAM, Warranty, and Software).
Who says Macs are more expensive again?
