on apples site, it looks more light colored. But I saw one pic where it was super dark looking. Anyone know what it really looks like. I couldn't find really any decent pics of this one.

It's predominantly white and gray but keep in mind it also has black threads running through it. It is much lighter than the black nylon band.

This real-world usage photo of the pearl and nylon bands should help:

Pearl is my favorite Nylon for SS. The white sides (and at lug end) matches nicely with SS IMHO.

I like the pearl but have a space gray sport. I'm not sure it would look good.

I ordered the pearl in the end. I initially ordered the darker coloured one, but noticed the buckle was black and wouldn't match my ss so cancelled that order. The pearl looks great.

I think the black one will look much better with the grey and black watches; the pearl is great on my silver sport. I think either works nicely with the stainless steel watch though.

It's got a nice sheen to it. Do you think it would look nice with a rose gold sport ? I can't seem to find anyone with a pic of this combo

I do (think it would look nice, not that I have that combo--clarification). I have the Pearl and at times in more incandescent lighting I think the side band color is more pinkish than cream. It's not white. So I think the rose gold would look great with it. I find it a very sophisticated looking band. From arm's length I think it almost has a metalic mesh look to it despite being fabric. Just the the way the colored weaving pattern appears. When you run your fingers over it it is silky smooth and it does have a slight sheen.

I originally was going to go with the black for my first but have a few black bands already so opted for this color. I actually love how the lighter band color sets off the black glass watch face, probably more so than the black band. Very happy with the color choice.

I can see what your saying ! I think I'll have it shipped to the store so then I can easily return it if I don't like it together.

That will also give you the opportunity to make sure the adapters fit properly (an issue with some nylon bands) and a quick return if not. Let the staff put the band on for you and then try it yourself. From the various posts it sounds like staff is aware of the issue. The member who helped by husband out when he picked mine up was aware and she tried it on a watch there before he took it home for me. I do think the rose gold will look nice with the gray band.

Ah damn. Now it's back ordered 3-4 wks. I should of ordered yesterday when it was just 1-2wks.

Is the buckle SS? The black one appears to have a matte finish, while the others appear to be polished.

I ordered the black for my black Apple Watch Sport. The pics of the pearl make me want one for my SS.

With the exception of the black woven which has a black buckle, all of the separately purchased bands have a matte aluminum buckle (matches? silver aluminum sport case). There are bands with other colored buckles but they only come matching the watch case if you buy them as one unit (new watch).

That's my SS AW above in the photo and of course at the case you have the colored adapter. When I have my palm upwards and see the buckle you don't see that the buckle doesn't match metals but in this case I'm OK with it. From the side view I don't really notice it.

They are not aluminium - the buckle is stainless steel. Read the packaging!

Yes, OK a typo and poor proof reading on my part. Meant to say SS (matched to look like the anodized aluminum sport case). The packaging does not say anything about the Adapter material however.
