Apple did not invent gold watches with red bands. There are hundreds of such watches.

If you've been following the Pebble threads, then you'd have noticed all the posts from people exclaiming that Pebble was copying Apple by using a common red & gold fashion.
A lot of them were caused by someone posting a picture of two watches side by side, something that Pebble themselves did not do.
Those are the people I was responding to, but I did not want to call them out by name and embarrass them.
Personally, do you think that the pebble steel looks like the Apple Watch or not?
Why is everyone so convinced that they copied the Watch? They started designing this watch over a year ago, even before the original Pebble Steel was announced, well before anyone knew what Apple had in store. Is it so difficult to believe that more than one company realized that a gold watch and a red band looks nice?
