I don't know why your post made me think of this but..shouldn't iTunes be renamed, it does a lot more than play tunes. I mean originally it made sense to be called iTunes but no so much anymore.

You make a good point. But how many people own iPhones in China versus Europe versus North America? Additionally, I think Apple waits until daylight California so that their IT department is fully staffed in case they incur a problem.

My point is maybe the name should represent all it does, your comical suggestions still have a music relation in them.

One thing we know for sure ... the Apple webpage for people in Tokyo and Australia say "June 18" instead of June 17. As of right now, it is 1:28am in Tokyo and 2:29am in Sydney, Australia. So, it is "June 18" now over there. Two hours and twenty nine minutes ago, someone could have argued it wasn't the 18th yet. Now, it is the 18th. Where is our update?

Is it possible that Apple won't release OS3 until 1PM EST or 2EST to attempt to make it available when most people are all at work nationwide?? This would cut download traffic time down to avoid server issues. Who knows...
