People who preordered black, are you switching to white?

You preordered a black iPhone and heard about this scuffing issue, are you switching?

I have a black iP5 coming tomorrow.

I will continue to use my 4S while other eager users report their findings on "scuffgate".

If the black DOES get scuffed up easily (hence making it eventually look like trash) then I will simply return the iPhone 5 un-opened and stick with my black 4S.

I have a white iPhone 4 and mistakenly pre-ordered white at BB.

Maybe I will not get anything at BB after all.

So if AT&T calls me or if there's anything at BB - I'll take the black regardless if the scuff gate issue is for real or not.

Scuffing? meh. Black looks too good to pass up, and I don't think scuffing will bother me too much, if it happens at all.

Just curious, why not get a minimalist case like the Incipio Feather or Case Mate Barely There? I understand that some don't like cases, but it seems like a decent compromise if you absolutely cannot stand the white?

True, I could end up doing that with an incipio feather (thanks for the idea brotha'!). I just would be worried that dust/debris would get in between the case & the phone and scratch the hell out of it the way the bumper cases did:

Damned if you do, damned if you don't, then. May as well just use it and move on?

Even if I was offered £100 to exchange my black one for a white I wouldn't do it.

The white just doesn't look anywhere near as good as the black. It just looks cheap and tacky.

"incipio feather" interesting

I don't want cases in my iPhone - am a risk taker :D and I buy iPhones because of it's great aesthetic and form factor without the cases. I don't sell them once am done with them.

I dropped them several times without cases and never break the screens *knocking on wood*

do you happen to live in so cal? ill trade you my black for your white :)

Only wanted the white iPhone when nobody had it. Now that's it's so common, just going back to black.

Nope. I think it's all being blown out of proportion. I'll buy a case like always and the phone will be fine.

switching to white not because of the scuffing, but i think the white just looks so much better in regular use because it doesn't show fingerprints and smudges nearly as badly

also because the aluminum looks EXACTLY like the macbooks and i would love to have at least 1/2 of my iphone look like macbooks. my DREAM is an all aluminum iphone.....
