I am constantly squinting when using my phone, if it just has a lil bigger screen and better specs, I might aswell just get a different phone or stick with the 4s for awhile. I've only had it for about 9 months (got it late december).

What are you going to do?

Most likely I'll do the upgrade to the 5. Either thru Apple's buyback program or sell on eBay.

Does it make sense to buy a at&t locked iPhone 4S from ebay etc and get it unlocked via those ebay listing (under 20$) rather than picking a factory unlocked one ?
I am planning to get iPhone 4S after the next iPhone is launched.

Give 4S to wife, buy new one. After I'm done "testing" the new one, I'll make the decision to have her keep 4S or sell it for whatever and get her a new one too!

I don't know. What can I do with iPhone 5 that I can't do with 4S?

wide screen porn ofc! lmao

but no your right, there will only be a few minor benefits but i think that the phone in whole will be of a significant change to the 4/4s. ive really fallen for it now, wasnt sure on the two tone back and taller size but i think its exactly what the phone needs so im itching to upgrade from my 4 :)

On only on a 4 but deffo going for a 5, my 4 is on its last legs

my 4 has a few blemishs on the stainless bezel but apart from that its pristine... so im hoping to sell that and upgrade to the 5 (will sell after release)

I use the most my iPhone because of its software, i will keep my 4S just because it is still well supported with the iOS 6.

If it ticks my needs and wants boxes both aesthetically and whats under the hood, then yes.

Im not a fanboy who will buy it because its an Apple product.

At first, I was excited about the 5, but if these leaked photos hold true, I'll just keep my 4S and renew in 2014, assuming that this years iPhone 5 will look the same for 2013. I won't be bothered keeping my 4S for 3 years.

No

No LTE in my area for the near future and no immediate use for NFC. Add to that accessory changes for the new form factor & dock connector and there is no compelling reason to update the hardware from the 4S.

Maybe next time.

sold my 4S for $490 on eBay yesterday. new iPhone day is the greatest holiday of the year, so I'll be getting it.

$490 seems pretty high. The average seems to be around $425 on eBay. Care to highlight what was offered in your sale? Did you ship internationally?

Yup. Getting ready to sell my 4s (keep an eye out in the Marketplace, if interested, AT&T 64 GB ;)). I've also owned every iPhone at one point or another and while I'd certainly like an even bigger screen than rumored, after using a Galaxy Nexus (which I don't dislike, btw) it's only confirmed to me that iOS and the build quality of the iphone are really the difference for me. Plus, LTE alone makes it worthwhile.
