With all the threads with complaints about the new iPad 2's I though I would start one about the positives about the new iPad's. I have nothing to complain about my iPad 2 and I am completely satisfied...I love it and its perfect screen:D!!
:apple:Post and share your enjoyment of the new iPad 2:apple:

Agreed.

Watch a film. Look at the edges :D

You'll see it

Nope mine doesn't have it. I have very light bleeding in one spot that only shows at 100% brightness while in a closet! Sine I'll never be using it at 100% while in a closet mine is fine. You can't see it at all at normal brightness even in a dark room

I'm perfectly happy with my iPad 2, after I ran to AT&T to get a different sim. The one it came with was a dud. At&t made me pay $15 for a new sim...that kind of made me a little angry, but when he put it in and I saw 3G at full bars, I jumped for joy, lol.
I finally checked both my iPad1 and 2 and for light bleed. Both have it, but not bad. Honestly, in the last year I've watched a ton of video on my iPad1 and never noticed the light bleed. Guess I never watch with the brightness at 100% in total darkness. So if I never noticed it on my old one after almost a year, I doubt I'll ever notice it on my new one.
Oh, and my home button is ever so slightly off centered, showing a little more opening at the bottom of the button. But, it's not loose or sticking up or anything, so I don't care.

show me any LCD at 100% brightness in a dark room with the screen set to black color. they all bleed.

and there was another in the bleeding thread, and the guy that compared 2 ip2's and 1 ip1 (the ip1 had a perfect screen also) there out there, and i think it mainly is the tech thats putting the screen together, if the guy is methodical and good you get a perfect screen

+1. Anyone would be hard pressed to dispute. Talk about denial. Either accept it or wait until a different type of panel is used. Apple, as well as Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, can only use the technology that is currently avaialable at a particular price point. If you don't like it, don't buy it. And yes, I am a stockholder.

with the normal way of using me two iPad 2s I have no complain and the bleed isn't as bad to annoy me. but what annoys me (maybe my OCD is kicking in), is the darn Splash screen protector, after 1 hour of applying it, I still get bubbles and lint underneath it.. (i gave up)

Well, I received my iPad 2 today, and I love it.
Significantly lighter, so much more comfortable to hold, and crazy thin.
It has a warmer screen colour temperature, too, which is preferable.
I went with my gut, over the white, and I'm so glad I did. :D

Had I bought my iPad 2 to look at a blank black screen in absolute darkness, I might be upset at the two small light bleed areas. But since I didn't, I am extremely happy.

Everyone knows that the only reason to buy an iPad2 is to stare at a black screen at 100% brightness in a pitch black room

I've had my black 32GB 3G ipad2 for three days now. I could not be happier, it really is perfect. Glad I returned my Ipad1 whch I flirted briefly with, and waited.

Oh, and i have no intention of ever using it in a closet at 100% brightness, looking for a non-problem!

It's a mass produced <$1000 consumer device. You'd think some people expect these to be handcrafted by magic elves with fairy dust. Get over your OCD and warped expectations of perfection. If you have light bleed during the day at low to mid brightness, return it. If you need to hole up in a cave and set it to retina searing 100% brightness to find an issue, get a life.

on 6 iPad 2's for our family. All have bleeding.. no biggie. However, 3 had a dead pixel... that I won't accept. The rest is fine by me..

Pixels? I don't need no stinkin pixels. If you need more than one pixel to enjoy your iPad you have OCD. :p

Maybe OCD but I paid good $$ for mine and I exchanged it and her comes #2 which has worse bleed and some of my elves must have run out of fairy dust

I don't think being "nitpicky" for a product that you paid a lot of money for is unreasonable. I work very hard for my money and expect to get the most for what I spend it on.

That is how I feel ! I wouldn't mind a little bleed but not fireworks.
I really wanna walk out there tomorrow with what I paid for (I have an appointment). I can not keep driving there it's far and we are on Spring Break so rather busy

Everybody does. But there is a difference between a perfectly working product and a perfect product. Perfection is a materialistic concept, not a reality. Everything (I repeat, EVERYTHING) has imperfections, whether it be man-made or nature/God-made. A slightly crooked home button or light bleed that one can only see in a dark room at midnight with a blackened screen and one eye closed while standing on one foot with your tongue stuck out (okay, I added a couple of things for comedic effect) is hardly a product flaw but a bit of an obsessive condition by the owner. No one's trying to dismiss true issues, but some of the complaints in this forum have just been unreasonable at best.
