Yeah, that's why I also posted that I hope for his sake he's already done most of the work so it would be hard to fire him. I'd not be amused if I were Job's family that he was using their private project to make claims he was working on an Apple project.

Edit: Or something some one else brought up that I didn't think of, a mis translation. After all he probably wasn't speaking English when he made those claims so maybe who ever translated made a huge error.

There is no way in #@&% that would ever happen. Starke himself has professed on video that Jony is the best designer in the world hands down! Starke is table scraps compared to Jony!

Kind of expected.
Either that or another peripheral for Apple products.
It makes no sense for Apple to suddenly rely on external staff to design a new product, when it's probably more beneficial to maintain the same level of internal knowledge, tech familiarity and design culture they have with the existing team.

This isn't an Apple project, and I'd be very surprised if it really was revolutionary (although I'm sure revolutionary would be used in the headlines if it ever capsizes).

Maybe he really is working on an Apple project and this story is to quieten down him speaking out too early.
