BlackBerry Tour 9630

I was rocking the Samsung a707, it was pretty sweet for a flip phone compared to a razr which my sister had. I could load up mp3s and movies using the mirco sd card. I waited till 3GS came out and got it at launch, because I didn't think the 2g/3G was worth the cost and decided to see if a better iphone would come out next year (glad I waited) I now have a iphone 4 I got at launch.

I was using my 2 month old iPhone 3GS. Before that, it was all Blackberry devices. I must say, that I love my iPhone 4 best out of all the phones that I have owned thus far. :)

For 3 years I used a motorola Q and Q9m then I bought a iPhone 3G in May of 2009 to only return it to BB and Pre-Order a 3GS, then in June of 2010 I bought an iPhone 4.

No more Verizon, I still have my 3GS White 32GB and handed it to my son, now I have a Black ip4 32GB and lovin it.

Current to first:

Currently: iPhone 3G (purchased November 2008, hopefully to be replaced by iPhone 4 on Sept 6th if Apple ship on time)

Before that:
2007 - Nokia N95
2006 - Motorola SLVR
2004 - Nokia 6260
2003 - Nokia 7210
2002 - Nokia 8210
2000 - Nokia 3210
1997 - Nokia 1611
1995 - Nokia 101....actually bought in September 1995 so next month I'll have been a cellphone user for 15 years :D

By the way, were there any app stores before Apple's that worked in the same way? Reason I asked is because in an argument not so long back with an Apple hater I said that the iTunes App Store changed the game in that previously you had to download apps directly from your carrier home page and pay not only an exorbitant premium text but data charges as well, he said there was a Symbian app store that worked in the same way as Apple's...anyone else remember this?

Wow, I don't think I remember all of them. LOL.

iPhone 4
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 2G (Unlocked for T-Mobile)
BB Pearl
BB Curve 8900
BB Storm
Sidekick 2, Sidekick 3, Sidekick LX, Sidekick ID
Random Motorola Phones

iPhone 4,
Before that a Nexus One,
Before that T-Mobile G1,
Before that some Sony Ericsson (can't remember the model)

EDIT: Just remembered it was a Sony Ericsson W850i.

My smartphone progression (goes back to 2005ish)....

Cingular 8125 > AT&T Tilt > Palm 750 > Blackberry 9000 > Blackberry 9700 > iPhone 4

i had an LG (flip version... can't remember what model?) before i got a 3GS, and now i have in iphone 4

before the LG i had a razor

Prior to the iphone 4, I had a Razr2, V9X. Before that a crappy samsung a737, and before that is was the worst phone I ever owned - an LG Incite. Extremely happy with the Iphone 4.

Prior to the iPhone I had an HTC WinMo phone. What a night and day difference. I got the iPhone 4 about a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it.

Iphone 3G, a Razr, two different Blackberries and way back in the dark ages I had a pink Nokia Baby Phat phone. I paid a small fortune for that thing. :D

2006 - hp iPaq, HTC star trek
2007 - Blackberry 8800, Blackberry Pearl, Blackberry Curve, Pantech Duo, Samsung Blackjack
2008 - iPhone 3g
2009 - Blackberry Storm (second line used to for work; still using iPhone 3g)
2010 - iPhone 4, Blackberry 9700

The only phone on that list that I really liked just as much as I like my iPhone 3g and 4 was the blackjack. I absolutely loved that phone, but definitely didn't regret upgrading to the 3g when the time came. Everything else I used just didn't do what I wanted it to do very well at all. The blackberries have been fine for work, but that's about all I use or care to use them for.
