Problems anyone?

Hello all, I'm new here and think this forum is going to be a valuable resource.
Edit: Problem solved. Thanks

Does anyone still have a copy of PhoneSaber 1.2 they can upload somewhere? I was only able to find a earlier version on my TimeMachine backup. I wish I never took it of my phone now.

How would this help you? Aren't all the apps, even the free ones, encoded to your iTMS account via DRM? I think it would work just like music purchased from the iTMS. You need to have an authorized computer to open the file.

How about a PhoneCorder? It makes appropiate sounds and shows some changing 'lights' as if you had a tricorder checking someone out.

Most of the tec in Star Wars is ether inspired by or a copy of tec in Star Trek (same goes for most sci-fi shows).

Proton torpedos always made me giggle, I think Star Trek really paved the way for space based sci-fi, at the time space ships used rockets and silly things like that and then The Enterprise came along with no rockets and a cool new look. Dont get me wrong I am also a Star Wars fan and I really think that the competions that people have over one being better than the other is silly. And I would choose Star Wars: A New Hope over Star Trek:TMP anyday. Anyway, back on topic. I liked playing with that sabre program you can use the wii remote for, that one was fun to goof with will Lucas pull that? or has he????

Proton is the Malaysian national carmaker (Malay acronym for PeRusahaan OTOmobil Nasional, 'National Automobile Enterprise').

I lived in Singapore for 8 years till a few months ago so Proton the car came to thought as much as proton, the atomic unit.

I think i'm royally f*^$ed. I have Phonesaber 1.2 on my iphone, but the app won't launch. Now, since I apparently can't re download it again, i'm without my beautiful saber for the foreseeable future :-(

Perhaps they are working on a real light saber for the iPhone. I mean a real real one that could be used to kill people. That would be terrible.

That's freaking hilarious. :D Made me laugh outloud.

Edit: well, I'll be damned, I'm finally a member. That must be some sort of record: three and a half years to post 30 times!

Can't you see them at LucasFilm now?

"Did you see the lightsaber app on itunes?" "I hear it's a pretty popular download, and it's FREE!"

"What? Free? Let's take the idea, spend 10 minutes in development (I.E. Make it buggy as hell), and make it our own, and then charge a ton of money for it! We'll be rich!"

actually the apps are extremely easy to share amongst friends. i have only done t his with apps that i have purchased and then were subsequently pulled from the app store.
i discovered this when i purchased netshare, and then it permanently disappeared. you simply take the app (exp. netshare.app) from the mobile applications folder in your itunes folder and copy it to a jump drive, or similar. with itunes not running, copy the app onto the new, authorized-or-not mac into the mobile applications folder. then simply double-click the newly copied app and it will appear in your itunes applications and sync perfectly to your iphone/ipod touch.

I tried this and it doesn't work for me. I get a message that says the application wasn't installed because it isn't authorized on this computer. I've now tried it twice, with iTunes off on both the donating and receiving machines.

I've no idea how the OP is running native apps. They are DRMed, so can only be used on an iPhone authorised with the purchasers iTunes Store account - as you have discovered.

In a way, this is hardly surprising, given they tend to be small files they would be round the internet in no time - and there would be few sales via iTunes - if there was no protection.

I actually would have been surprised if it had worked!
