Photo Association Game Thread

December 25, 2013. Inside a narrow path at the top of the Blackcomb glacier. The glacier had separated and a bergschrund was formed. Behind me the path went much further and there was a deep crevasse alongside the path. This was as far as I went because I though it was dangerous to go further. Later that day, a child fell into the crevasse. They were rescued, but it took several hours.

Yellowknife, NWT. I went mountain biking with this bike borrowed from the local tourist centre. The bike and me survived.

Edit, the body of water in the background is Great Slave Lake, which is the second-largest lake in the Northwest Territories (after Great Bear Lake), the deepest lake in North America at 614 m (2,014 ft).
