I'm going to call fake, not because it's good looking or ugly. It just looks nothing like a Johnny Ive.
That is nasty looking!![]()
I agree, there is something about the current iPhone that makes it stand out, this just looks like any other phone to me.

If its real Jonny Ive has lost his touch. It looks totally hideous.
If it does really look like this, forget it I won't buy one. call me superficial but the touch screen can't make up for this.
Please no. It looks like any other phone out there only a lot worse.![]()
But the shape looks nasty as well. The MacBook Air may be tapered, but this thing looks so un-Apple like. All of Apple's products have striaght lines and round corners. This doesn't fit at all with that.I think it's a mockup of the phone, not made of the real materials, but merely accurate in size, shape, and positioning of elements, to help get the feel of it and design cases, etc. I can see Apple giving a few of those out to trusted (oops!) manufacturers.
So strictly looking at the shape of it, that looks nice. A little narrower, a little shorter, nice.
First, the home button on the front doesn't have the right angle.
Second, the iPhone typo on the back is too pixelize
Three, the scratches on the back and also a step at the bottom of the phone, probably when they superimpose the back of the real one on top of this picture.
I knew I saw that before, it's the back modified of an LG Chocolate, exactly the same curve
and I think you've just proved it! Brilliant!I think the worst part of the image is the Apple logo itself. First of all as mentioned earlier it is more pixelated than the rest of the photo. Second of all it seems to be level while the phone is being held at an angle. To see what I mean, check this out. I grabbed an image of the back of the iphone and inverted the colors, then laid it on top of this image.
