About Steve Jobs value at Apple, he did co-found the company and he is credited with turning Apple around and making it what it is today after returning. Does anyone dispute the latter?

But if that's true, then who will be able to continue to do what Jobs, if and when he'll no longer be with the company?

And what will happen to Apple without Jobs? Remember what happened the last time he left.

These are serious questions about Apple and it's future.

Just think, if they all got food poisoning and died - America would be brought to its knees. For a few days.

Nah, American leadership weathers stuff like that with ease. It's one of the effective things about our military leadership too.

steve jobs is a major key person at apple but i thinks the company has learned its lesson and wont do the same mistake the did last time i.e trying to beat microsoft with the cost of quality and user friendliness

how many black turlte neck shirts does he own?!?!! lol :D
He must have lots cause the are BLACK and not that faded black/grey
from being in the washer and dryer over and over.

I bet hes got a pair of blue jeans on too....

is it good to see him out though, i hope he's feeling better

Very skillful in how Jobs face and legs are hidden. Im beginning to think the newspapers are right about his condition.

Also, pretty tasteless to dress the way he does. I'm not a fan of Obama, but if I were to meet him and sit next to him for dinner, I would respect the office enough not no dress in freakin' turtle neck.

Jobs has ZERO class, none.

Or how about the lack of pictures? This had photo op written all over it, but we the taxpayer only get one picture? I think the number of pictures were limited due to Steve Jobs current condition.

i like that quote "but we the taxpayer only get one"? :p

us tax payers are ALWAYS getting screwed! lol

It could be a body double. Or even Photoshopped, with the rest of the people at the table sworn to secrecy on pain of death.

Steve does look skinny, yes, but more skinny when compared to his most recent keynotes? Probably not, but quite hard to tell really.

I was watching the 2006 WWDC keynote the other day and thats scary - steve looks completely different and a lot younger. He has lost a lot of weight over the last few years.

You pretty much can't see anybody's legs cuz they're are all under the table. Yes, very skillful photography there! And what about the guy sitting to the left of Steve Jobs? We can't see his face either! What is he trying to hide?

Most of the men are not wearing ties, AFAICT, including Obama. Seems to be a more casual attire. So what? And Larry Ellison is also wearing a turtle neck. Where's the outrage for him?

Eric - good point that we don't want to give these violators more forum visibility to spread their garbage. That said, many of us hope that there will be tighter moderation and action against this behavior.

Also - were any of the bad actors banned?

Damn I'm thinner than uncle Steve. I should have died a long time ago:D Better pack my stuff:p

Looks like everybody wants to kill Steve, guess what? In the next keynote instead of macbooks Steve is going to announce:

"Once again I'm still a live."

How much money round that table??!!

That's a lot of money in one room!:eek:

Haha, that's what I was thinking! :D Very powerful and influential people around that table. Kind of odd and surreal! They are just normal people.

He doesn't look anywhere near as bad as he did in those "genuine" photographs from a certain news organisation.

I can't seem to find those pics. Did they publish them? Do you have a link?

Notice Steve is the only guy without wine?

He is undergoing treatment for cancer.
What is so strange about him not drinking alcohol?

Actually, there are just two guys with Wine in the whole room, they all have water or something like that... (Check out the big flickr pic from the previous poster)

Yes it looks like there are other people with water but does Steve drink? I don't think he does.

Everyone is dressed up but Steve....awesome.

He did wear a tux to the oscars at least.

Ya it was weird seeing Steve in a tux or anything but his standard uniform haha! :D

I would honestly love to see his closet lol! Probably like Earnest... Nothing but black turtle necks, Levis jeans, and NewBalance sneakers haha! :p

Get better for the sake of mankind, mr jobs!

No kidding! Please Steve! :(

Good to see that's Steve is still well enough to attend such things. Still very thin mind you.

Yes, for sure!

I noticed they were all wearing shirts / tops - must be trying to hide some chest condition

He has said before that he dresses the way he does because he doesn't give a **** what anyone thinks about him.

I think it is very telling for Microsoft that they weren't represented there. You had Yahoo!, Cisco Systems, Twitter
Oracle, NetFlix, Apple, Genentech, Google, The Westly Group, and Facebook.

Lack of class? You mean like a member of Congress screaming "you lie" at POTUS. I think Joe Wilson was wearing a tie and it certainly didn't impart any "class".
