Actually more people are around today because of vaccines. Not another nutter.

Yeah I can't see where on earth people are making Gates out to be a person that wants to thin the population. Selected reading and or selected thoughts I guess. Thats literally insane they believe that.

There's been a lot of books like this, getting information from various Jobs interviews and sticking them together. Why is this special? Is it more official than the others or something?

I think it's the only book he gave many interviews for, and the timing with his health scare makes it momentous.

I'd like to hear any story that shows he is more human than Patrick Bateman, or something other than a fashion model. I don't know how he claims to be Buddhist when his whole life seems to promote cold nasty materialism.

Steve Jobs, then and now

When I saw the cover I immediately thought of a modified version of the back cover shot. Here is my photoshop of this idea.

Surely the book will come packaged in plastic so you can "experience"opening it. The book will have 1 page only, then say. Steve, Sent from my iPad.

We also await the "unboxing" photos posted by orgasmic fanboys when they finally get their copies.

Looking forward to this - so much!:)

...And I want a hard copy!

Not a digital download? Steve won't approve....

----------

I wonder if they will release a second edition with smaller text so it is 10% thinner :D

...which will become available exactly 1 week after you bought your original copy.:D

Actually a vast majority of living Nobel laureates -- at least those "curing cancer" -- use Apple products and would probably be thrilled to meet Jobs. He's had an incalculable effect on our world and been a great facilitator for such lofty endeavours as science.

I'm starting to think we need a line of Steve Jobs merchandise, similar to the Chuck Norris ones; you know "Steve Jobs doesn't have a chin, behind his beard is another amazing and magical product" or "Steve Jobs doesn't drink tiger blood, tigers drink Steve Jobs' blood" and so on ....

----------

People will probably hand it down from generation to generation, like a family bible.

I hope there are some pages for my family tree.... LOL

----------

did he ever not wear those black turtle necks? :p

He is close, personal friends with Michael Kors....

Genius businessman, douche in most circumstances

I really am laughing out loud... I hope they put that on his tombstone.....:D

Genius Businessman,
Douche In Most Circumstances"

well done...

Points taken. I certainly should have modified ***hole with "if he is one".
I don't agree with you completely, but your points are obviously well thought out and carefully considered. :)

Thanks. I'm glad you took what I wrote with a grain of salt and in a constructive manner, especially as that's all I really meant by my post in the very first place. Down the road I'm sure you'll return the favor.

Best regards to you.

This will become a best seller really fast!

I wonder if it will have a release delay again.

I've read a bit into the making of this biography since Jobs' death and it all makes sense now. He's been a private man his whole life, and I guess he knew the end was coming when this was commissioned. He wanted everyone to speak honestly about him, he said, and he, in turn, spoke honestly about everyone.

I will buy this as soon as it comes out. I can't wait to read it. Of course, it'll be a sad read now, but a very good one nonetheless.

R.I.P. Steve Jobs.
