Just my joke...

Over in the interior of Alaska, around Fairbanks, the Northern Lights are visible on clear nights from September through April. But as you can see in my photo, there is lots of daylight on the sky. In this location there is light at the foreground from the streetlights nearby, and also on the sky-at the right side of the photo-from streetlights. But it's usually very dark by 11:00 PM in September, through March.Last one in this set from me

The Northern Lights are something I long to see, your very lucky! I was thinking about taking a trip to Iceland to see them, but then their volcano started playing up, need to get round to organise something again...I think sept/oct/nov is the best time to see them there?
Interesting color palette. What time of day did you shoot this?
Maybe it's not such a bad thing that my photographic outings have been curtailed for a while. At least it is forcing me to do something with the photos that I have taken already (alas, it's a lot more fun to take them than it is to 'develop' them). So here's another photo newly culled from my archives...
