Loving your last couple of shots. It reminds me of my stellar trips to the Oregon coast via Longview and Astoria.

Harvest time in the England/Scotland border country...
yetholm.jpg

Lovely. For those on this board who haven't been to the English countryside: this gives a great sense of it.

Still in England, but further south, this is Ham House, a National Trust property very close to the River Thames in Richmond, south-west London. The birds that you can see sihouetted to the upper right of the house are parakeets, of which there are many in that area. Check out this photo for a close-up. It's heavily processed to bring out the colours, and not very sharp as I only had the 18-55 kit lens with me that day so I had to crop heavily, but it's fun to see those exotic green birds sitting on the English stately home.

My lord that is some kind of beautiful. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I would love a print of that, framed in my living room somewhere.

Love me some Double Dead Guy. Good stuff.

Dead Guy is some good stuff. Santa's Private Reserve is good around Christmas time. One of the few beers that i haven't liked is Rogue's Chipotle Ale. My curiosity got the best of me and i regretted it. One of the only times in my life that i actually poured out a beer
