Part of a portraits project I did in film for class, click on the pic for the rest :) . I've never really concentrated on portraits so it was an interesting first time for me. All shots were in 400 tri-x on Ilford multigrade IV.

Can't remember whether I posted this or not. Scotland.

I like this one better than the first. He doesn't look as dead as in the first.
Lol, thank goodness you guys are living in America cause to some races, calling a person relative dead is rude, haha.

Anyway nice pictures!!! I want to shoot like you guys as in have good photographs or subjects. Any sites that can help me?

This picture was taken yesterday. The composition and everything is terrible, but I like it anyways. Major cloning was done to remove some stuff (I guess that's the thing I'm most proud of?) but the cat, which I think was a stray, had a fun time staring at me.

Haha, it's all subjective. Personally I think the first one is more intense, and this one is a bit on the cheesy side. But they're supposed to be different takes of the same idea. :)
Thanks!

here's something totally different for today.
My cat, DaVinci.

a ringflash with a 30" diffuser on it (works out to be the same as a beauty dish), high and just a little to the left.
There was a gelled B1600 aimed at the back seamless for the color.

Model: Canon EOS 5D
Shutter Speed: 1/160 second
F Number: F/10.0
Focal Length: 93 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Nice shot Valdore, is that taken with a wide angle lens? and is there a touch of HDR in that shot?

Mmmmm... Cat in cranberries:a Christmas meal with a difference. :)

Ireland?!?!

No... it's Bassenthwaite Lake in the Lake District...

Can't post any pix, 'cos my laptop is being repaired. :( Can't take any pix 'cos it's raining. :(

But Sunday is the shortest day (in UK, at least). I've got a log fire in my little wooden shack, and a bottle of wine for later. So life ain't so bad... :)
