Old statue vs. Modern art.
Wanted to capture the contrast between the old craftmanship and the modern graffiti.

Here's what resulted when I moved the tripod during my last submission to this thread. I figured, since the photo's already screwed, I might as well have some fun with it :D

For some strange reason, there seem to be some hiding Powerade logos in this picture...

Hello all, not posted for a while. Was sledging at the weekend but the light was terrible so didn't get anything worthwhile. We'll see if Birthday Santa brings me any camera toys this weekend.

Liked the shots by nidserz, digitalfrog, HF2008 (took me a while to find the foot!) and Doylem/Steamie as per usual!

A mantis closeup. A little practice shot while I wait for my extension tubes so I can really get up close!

(for all those who are interested, this is a Stagmatoptera biocellata :))

It was taken at ISO 1600 so will be noisy - I rather like the graininess for that pic though, gives it a bit extra.

Here's mine - C&C appreciated as always. I'm back in the UK so have access to the countryside once more, as well as the opportunities from frosts. :)
