Come spring, with the projects finished, I'm looking forward to getting back into photography full-time. The plan is to sell my lakeside shack, buy a tiny camper van and take off for the wild places for maybe a couple of years.

Something I dream about doing myself someday. I hope you'll head off with a 3G iPad or some other way of sharing photos with us from the road!

I ran into that problem last week too, luckily a lack of sleep helped solve that for me over the last 48 hours. :D

Floating Bridge

I'd happily give up some sleep if the sky would just relent a bit in its insistence on thick, grey nothingness as far as the eye can see. :(

I love the yellow glow in the clouds of your photo.

Magnificent sky! That arcing formation at the right is incredible.

I grew up in Seattle and the grey clouds never really bothered me. However, I've been playing the mobile homeless game(truck driver) and rarely spend much time at home, I'm not sure I could deal with the constant clouds anymore. I can't stand humidity either, so I'm not too sure where my next home will be.

An example of said clouds, a couple birds flying over while I was attempting to get close to some other birds I spotted on my way home from the truck last Thursday. I'm not too sure about the cloud color now that I'm looking at it again, hmmm...

What a great catch! I love how he's so upright and engaged with the camera.

Flyover

Yeah, that is a bit grey. Now imagine the sky so dark that it looks like evening outside when it's really high noon...that's the kind of incredibly grey weather we get in central Europe. Definitely not inspiring for someone who likes to shoot colorful landscapes. :( There's hope for this weekend, though: possible snow followed by clear skies...fingers crosssed! :)
