Back then photography was just pointing at things at random and I had little idea of things like composition. At least I caught a taxi in the image. I had one hour (each direction) roller coaster taxi ride from my hotel to the office every day. If I was lucky, the taxi would be an air conditioned "Cool Cab".

The FF camera and 85mm lens worked well this time (no significant image distortion of the subject's face).
well right, 85 is ideal for a portrait. ? i just meant if i’d packed my camera to go to a museum i’d take something like a 35 so i could photograph the inside of the building. it wouldn’t occur to me to take portraits inside.
