one doesn’t stop seeing. one doesn’t stop framing. it doesn’t turn off and turn on. it’s on all the time. // annie leibovitz

this is so true for me. i take about a hundred photos in my mind during my daily walks. i haven't taken this camera very far yet, but it's my next obsession (ironically i have a different film stock in it, as i am saving this one to make sure that this camera works properly, having already had one film camera that didn't focus properly).

On more than one occasion, I’ve thought of jumping to FujiFilm due to the SOOC JPGs and classic filters. I hear folks say that they put a ton of work into those results, and even the X-trans sensor is supposed to behave more like film did with the extra green pixels. They even do the classic dials. Very tempting for me, even though I never owned/operated a classic film camera.

this is an actual film camera. but i assume you know that and are just commenting on digital fujis replicating their film stocks. ? I have Fuji Superia 400 in this camera right now, which I haven't liked as much in other test rolls than the Portra 400, but the Portra has a massive price increase, so I'm going to hoard it a bit for vacations and other things. Until I know this camera works well I'm not using expensive film!

Yes, I saw that was the film predecessor. :) I was relating a bit with how they’ve taken what they know with film and are doing something different with sensors. Most cameras use a traditional sensor design, but the X-trans is a different take entirely. Now, does it actually make a difference? I don’t know!

Pentaxforums has a nice sub-forum on the Fuji X-Trans sensor. Photos and a bit of chat. I view it through TapaTalk, or it can be accessed directly online.

And there are film recipes you can program into a Fuji X Sensor camera from resources like Fuji X Weekly

While I aint got gud engrish, u peoples talk funny. :D

Actually, it was at a State Park and an exhibit of a cowcamp, located a days cattle-drive apart, and staff was in the role of the 1870's talking about the fine saloon girls. His classic line, two types of women - saloon and teachers - and he aint done much book learn'n.
