I keep everything simple - one camera, one lens, tripod & cable release. Low ISO, f10 or f11
with shutter speed as the only variable. With nothing to think about, I can pay attention to whats happening. When the light is revealing, I shoot a lot of pix, generally bracketing 3 or more shots around the ideal exposure. Therell be one shot to keep, and the others to discard
but I dont do this till I get home and view the pix on the big screen.
Conversely, when the light is unrevealing, I dont shoot any pix at all.
