I like the composition and the sufficient amount of background blur. It's America, but you captured what sets Louisiana apart.

LIGHT PAINTING ORB!! :D

the only photoshop was just making the back ground black. cause the iso was at 1600, and you can see my messy room. :p

Just a note to say I'm enjoying your photos... I used to be a bee keeper.. never quite saw them like this. BJ

Thanks!

Amazing what a new lens will do to a perspective on things. I've never been bothered much by bees... but my ability to remain in proximity to some other bugs when there is shot to be taken is starting to surprise me.

The marina at Whitehaven... In 1778, during the American War of Independence, John Paul Jones led a naval raid on Whitehaven, the town from which he’d originally set sail, nearly twenty years earlier, as an apprentice. The plan was to set fire to all the wooden ships in the harbour: a plan that turned farcical when some of his crew disobeyed his orders and went to the pub instead!

Newfoundland

a beautiful village called woody point in the back ground and wild roses in the front of the picture often named the "tea rose".
