Detail from interior of the Watts Mortuary Chapel, a bizarre building of Art Nouveau whimsy, in the village of Compton, Surrey...

Nice shot. Freezing the motions of dogs is quite amazing. I've photographed our dog several times while catching balls etc. in the air. The athleticism of these animals is always impressive.

This is one of my favourite pic's I've made in the last few weeks. On the left one can see the famous Ponte Vecchio in Florence.

ah, High Street, Clovelly, Devon EX39 5TQ

but wait £6.50 to visit the village? That's 2 pints!!!

Yes, you have to think of it like a tourist attraction that you pay to visit, like a castle or something. By "any time between lunch time and closing time" I mean "the whole time between lunch time and closing time".

Here's a cat further down the same street, looking suitably worried ...

Very nice, but maybe a tighter shot on this beautiful child's face would emphasize his/?her blue eyes even more or even a tighter crop? Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've got a bunch more shots of him, so I will be sure to try out a tighter crop on the others. :)

Truck Coils

Originally had this in color, but I think it is better in B&W. Took this at night and used a flashlight to light up the coils.

The kids tennis club had a local area seniors championship over the weekend, took this from a safe distance with the widest angle I could get. Half of the players disappeared due to the slow shutter, but I like the colours of it.

Hope the cops let you squeeze off just one shot of the Bridge . The 2 who threw me out of the park were pretty tolerant . The Promenade ( where I believe you took your posted pic ) is high up on my 'field trip' list now that it's getting warmer.

Yeah they were good, I did get some bridge pics from up on the Promenade :)
I did see a bloke with a Leica and another camera with grey hair very loosely fitting the description of "some old guy" :)p) when I was down in the park... it did get me wondering... :p

Nice shot nonetheless. I plan on going to NY in about a month, so I hope that at that time the park will stay open for some late day / night shots from that park. Like you, I've been planning a few pictures from that same location.

Fingers crossed, it was a great spot! Plenty of photo opportunities, you'll have a great time there I'm sure.

Nope ...wasn't me , for some reason , unlike most of my friends , my hair has neither turned gray nor fallen out . Must have been thatotheroldguy :D
