Wow! Is it my imagination, or is the quality of photos improving??? Keep up the good work, folks!

Rymack: Best of luck to you in getting your gear back. There are many of us who are rooting for you!

Today's offering: 1 World Trade Center is already up to 60 stories! This was taken inside the Winter Garden, not far from the spot that originally connected it to the World Trade Center via a 400' footbridge. That footbridge was destroyed in the attack on September 11, 2001.

We were here during a tour organized by Tribute to WTC Visitor Center. Before that museum, we spent two hours at the "Must See," (especially for photographers!), the Ground Zero Museum Workshop.

Having lived in NJ as a youth and with the NYC skyline visible, I watched the Twin Towers go up and was shocked and cried when they went down. It is good to finally see some progress after all of this time.

Thanks for the nice comments on the Utility cover post. I had a hard time getting the DOF I wanted on macro shots that day.

I need to get this into a new PDF. MR can make life difficult sometimes.

Converting an image post to show thumbnails.

Change the bold parts of the image quote as indicated below using standard [].

ImageShack or Flickr without a link-back.

After

Flickr with a link back to the hosting page is harder because the image link is embedded in the Flickr page link, but the process is the same when it comes to changing the string. The ---- is to seperate the two URLs for this post.

Nice. Often I recognize the locations of your pics. This one has me puzzled. Wild guess; West or North Van side of the inlet. ;)

P.S. Designer Dale, I figured out the messed up incantation to TIMG this image. Can you say, COMPLICATED. Your post above was very timely. Thanks.

Thanks for all the well-wishing, folks! It's much appreciated to know I have people rooting for me in such a crappy time...

I do have insurance, just have to jump through the hoops before I can start looking into replacements.

Sorry for the off-topic. Needed to vent a bit!

I just got back from my trip to the Caribbean and Florida. I have a ton of pictures to sort through and edit. Here's one that I have online already. It was taken with my point and shoot so the focus is on the fence instead of the monkey, but I still really like it.

The guide told us this white faced capuchin monkey was in his own cage away from the others because he was mean ;)

I'll be posting a bunch more from our cruise, the Kennedy Space Center, and Walt Disney World as I get done working with them.

Interesting and good guess... Around town, I'm not sure where you would find rocks like these near the high tide mark... Maybe Ambleside as you suggest? Anyway, this was taken on a rocky beach on the Sunshine Coast near Gibsons on a day trip this last weekend.

Cheers! :)

Thanks, Dale. Is it my imagination or are there more thumbnails since you and Reef posted?

I love this. I normally don't photos which have alot of effects on it, but this one really works. I like the choice of font too. You must be a designer of some sorts.

I understand that most people in this forum don't like over-processed photos, but I suppose it's become something of my style. The original photo's grass is dull, the sky is overcast, the marble's texture was faint and old, and the light was monotone. It was still a beautiful scene though, and I enjoy bringing that out.

Done some design jobs in the past here and there, but certainly not a professional.

Thanks for the comment!

Charles Bridge, Prague

The tourist horror that is the Charles Bridge in Prague. It's a shame, because it's a beautiful bridge, with a great view of the castle in the background.
