Interesting subject and lighting. I like the shot. BTW, what's with the car?

The image is rather noisy. I think you should have used manual mode where you could have dropped the ISO substantially. Yea, you'd need a tripod for the slower shutter speed, but the image quality would improve substantially.

I checked out the EXIF data on Flickr and see your using a GH2 with a 25mm f1.4 lens. How do you like that?

My first ever entry on the photography boards! Hope you like it. I'm pretty new at photography, so ANY feedback is appreciated!

Welcome aboard. Nice first entry. I like the leading line of the fence and road, makes you wonder what's on the other side of the hill. Keep the photos coming. you'll find that the people who post here are some pretty amazing and experienced photographers that willingly share their expertise. I learn something just about every day on here!

Me too... I see a track in a pic, and I want to follow it...

Holiday time in the Lake District, and I'm doing some shots for the tourist brochures...

I got lucky that the bee was entering in frame but my main focus was the flowers. Did a little bit of editing in Aperture. Thoughts?

Getting a nice picture of a performing artist is more difficult than I thought. There is always something wrong (eyes, mic, body position, etc), space is limited and you have to concentrate so not to miss the "decisive" moment. The framing is not ideal.
This is Hindi Zahra from France, performing at the Dunya Festival in Rotterdam. Her music is captivating.

Nice shot.

I, coincidentally, took a few shots of some flowers and bees today. I decided to post this one, because I really like the building in the background.

The Ocean Eagle taking the lead. A smaller boat with 800 more horsepower that managed to beat us by half a tug length. If we had another 1/4 mile of "track" we could have taken them to get the win 2 years in a row.

Welcome aboard bristleworm.

I fully agree with fcortese and Doylem. This is a very well composed shot of a lovely scene.

I'll bet you that if you go back either at sunrise or sunset, you'll be much happier with the result as the light will be less harsh, with warmer tonalities.

I really like the GH2. I've loved the multi-aspect ratio sensor. I've been very pleased with the IQ, size/weight, and quality of the micro 4/3 lenses (especially that 25mm Summilux, 12, and 45mm Olympus m.Zuikos).
