Yeah, its amazing that macro shots most of the time will produce impressive photos. Love the contrast :)

Thanks Oblomow, I took quite a few that I haven't got the chance of sorting through yet, I do have one other on my flickr page taken a short while after this and the difference in colour after such a short time is quite dramatic.

This is the southern most point in the United States, the south coast of Big Island, HI. The structures on the left are canoe hoists, that the natives used to lower thier canoes down the cliffs to the ocean below.

Very nice, though I imagine the anti-HDR crowd would criticize it. Is that the River Thames, by chance? Looks familiar to me.
