I really enjoy viewing the photos in this thread. In my humble opinion, and others may share it, it would be beneficial and interesting if the poster could take a moment and state what the subject of the photo is and where it was taken. Obviously in some cases.... Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty etc. it is not as crucial but in others it would be useful information. Thanks.

I agree. There are many times a photo is posted and I have so many things to ask about it (Which, IMO, makes a good photograph if it draws you in to wonder about the story behind it). I'm MUCH more interested in where the photo was taken or some short tidbit about it than I am about what camera at what f-stop was used to take it.

I, personally, will try harder to practice what I preach.
