Lovin this shot

What they say ? A picture says a thousand words ? I like the DOF. The facial expression, the costume - the white face. Wow. It would have been nice to see the whole set up, the guitar case etc but something about this shot and your title struck an immediate chord. Thanks.

Sully

Did my niece's baby portraits over the weekend. Don't have much experience with setup portraits with props so we opted for more the lifestyle/candid approach.

A few weeks back on the NASA APOD site I saw a unique picture of a cloud formation with a circle hole in one of the threads there, http://asterisk.apod.com/search.php?keywords=punch+hole+cloud , until then I've never heard about a "Punch hole cloud".
more background here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fallstreak_hole

Last Sunday 9/18, we were at a church picnic and I looked up, saw this hole in a cloud, and grabbed my T1i camera w/ 15-85 lens to capture it.
The hole held together as the could drifted across the sky, so I think this was a "Punch hole cloud", what do others here think?
