Mine for today and another Rainier shot. I promise I will go out to a different location soon... :D

I thought the kilts were a nice touch. There were a couple of them playing bagpipes, too.

There was a street performance of a local ballet group tonight and as i expected it was a battle with light, focus, motion blur, etc. this one, although imperfect, seems to convey the atmosphere.

This was my first bird photo taken at the beach whilst attending to my kids playing in the water. I've only got 17-50 lens therefore couldn't zoom in a bit more :(.

This one was taken this winter in Montreux, Switzerland - the famous Chateau Chillon. It was forgotten about for awhile, but I re-processed it and brought it back to life. It was a dreary day, so I tried to make the most of it. Honest c&c always appreciated.

HDR for landscapes is bad enough. For people? It’s a crime against humanity...

I like the idea of doing the best with what we’ve got. Maybe your lens wasn’t ideal for shooting close-ups of the birds... but instead you’ve captured a wonderful sense of space and freedom. Great pic (and would make a good desktop too)...

If the light doesn’t make the subject ‘sing’, at the moment you press the shutter, then I’m not sure there’s very much you can do in PP to improve matters. Sure you can increase the contrast, jazz up some colours, etc... but, IMO, it’s always “making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear” (is that an expression which has crossed the Atlantic?)...

Just another shot of 'my' woods...

The foreground is a bit boring and distracting ( can it be both?? ), I suggest cropping it, leaving the rock.
